Tequila Mi AmorTequila Mi Amor I taste the fruit it soothes my soul

Tequila Mi AmorOh Tequila Mi Amor I’m in love with you

A senorita down in Mexico

Eyes of blue hair black as coal

Smile bright a heart of gold

Como se llama Tequila Amor

Tequila Mi Amor Tequila Mi Amor I taste the fruit it soothes my soul

Tequila Mi Amor Oh Tequila Mi Amor I’m in love with you

We danced all night ‘neath the moon and stars

Sun came up went back to the bar

It’s just a dream a distant mirage

Bottle’s empty and Tequila was gone

Tequila Mi Amor Tequila Mi Amor I taste the fruit it soothes my soul

Tequila Mi Amor Oh Tequila Mi Amor I’m in love with you

Tequila Mi Amor Tequila Mi Amor I taste the fruit it soothes my soul

Tequila Mi Amor Oh Tequila Mi Amor I’m in love with you

Tequila Mi Amor Tequila Mi Amor I taste the fruit it soothes my soul

Tequila Mi Amor Oh Tequila Mi Amor I’m in love with you

Tequila Mi Amor Tequila Mi Amor I taste the fruit it soothes my soul

Tequila Mi Amor Oh Tequila Mi Amor I’m in love with you

Never Leave it alone

  • In '63 he's just nine years old, he heard the Beatles on the radio, felt that burning desire. If I had my own guitar, I could be a rock n roll star, just like the Beatles on the radio. '66 he's a little league all star, '69 gigging honky-tonk bars, baseball, girls, rock n roll. Put down the guitar pick up a bat, come-on coach man that ain't where it's at, a different fire burns below.
  • Emotions run deep when you feel that passion, burns like hell, nothing else matters, like a bullet to the bone. That's your heart and soul, never leave it alone.
  • He's got stars in his eyes, now he realizes, it's a long hard road.
  • All these years working the bars, still rockin' that old guitar, his dream lives on.
  • Emotions run deep when you feel that passion, burns like hell, nothing else matters, like a bullet to the bone. Emotions run deep it's a die for a passion that burns like hell, nothing else matters, like a bullet to the bone, it's your heart and soul, never leave it alone. Never leave it alone. Never leave it alone

She's Knoxville Bound

Her mama told her, "girl you better settle down"

Folks like us never leave this town

Find a better job and go another day

Girl you still owe for that Chevrolet

Chorus

She's Knowville bound take it come what may

This tired old town will her death someday

Verse 2

Her minds made up she's really leaving this time

Flip a single finger at the city limit sign

80 miles per hour cross that Georgia line

Pedal to the metal, leave it all behind

But she never listens to mama anyway

Packed up her Camaro, now she's on her way

Chorus (repeat)

Bridge

she hugged and kissed her mama on the front porch swing

All of mama's tears didn't change a thing

She said I'll be back to visit someday

Now she's on her way

Chorus ( repeat)

Kewl to Kruel

  • What happened to that girl, the girl I thought she was so cool. she came along and stole my heart, ripped it out, tore it apart.
  • She's  gone Kewl to Kruel, Kewl to Kruel.
  • Said she had my back, I turned around, she cut me bad. Scolded me like a dog, kicked me to the curb, she ran off.
  • She's  gone Kewl to Kruel, Kewl to Kruel.
  • Blind with love, never saw her evil ways, damage done, got burned by the flame.
  • Now after all this time, I thank god she's gone. I learned my lesson well, after all, she put me through hell.
  • She's  gone Kewl to Kruel, Kewl to Kruel, Kewl to Kruel, Kewl to Kruel.

Poor Mr. Grover (Revisited)

  • We was heading out the other day, headed to the back-country across Florida Bay. It was mid January, the sun was scorchin' my head. About fifteen miles out, around about Rabbit Key, old Mr. Grover under a big mangrove tree, old he was wise, he was fat, the king of the hole.
  • Once long ago, well he got hooked, fought and got off it baby, got himself loose, and he lived under the mangrove, watching the world go by.
  • But on this day, he ran out of luck, along came the Golden Boy, the Turk and Chuck, old Mr. Grover the sun must have scorched his head.
  • He couldn't resist, so he made his move, he's fighting his last stand around that mangrove root. Old Mr. Grover, the king of the hole.
  • Now I reminisce, and I feel kind of sad, that was the worse day that old boy ever had. Old Mr. Grover was the king of the hole, old Mr. Grover was the king, of the hole. He was the king of the hole, he was the king of the hole. Old Mr. Grover was the king, Oh yea.

Those Eyes by D.L. Chastain

  • You know I loved you from the beginning , got your back where ever you go. Some things in life are never ending, like a window to your soul. I was there the day they opened, from that moment child I knew. No matter what happened good or bad, I would always know the truth.
  • Through those eyes, those eyes, though they sometimes hypnotize. Those eyes they give you away every time, I can see you through those eyes.
  • Now you've grown up so much older, and you come to realize. When the world is on your shoulder, I can see it through those eyes.
  • Those eyes, Those eyes, though they sometimes hypnotize. Those eyes they give you away every time, I can see you through those eyes. I can see you through those eyes.
  • Through those eyes, those eyes, though they sometimes hypnotize. Those eyes they give you away every time, I can see you through those eyes.
  • Those eyes, Those eyes, though they sometimes hypnotize. Those eyes they give you away every time, I can see you through those eyes. I can see you through those eyes. I can see you through those eyes.

Livin' on Borrowed Time

Livin' on Borrowed Time

Livin' on Borrowed Time

  • Was it yesterday? Maybe tomorrow. It all seemed like today, when time is borrowed. Loosing track of the hours, Livin' on Borrowed time.
  • Even the hands of time, numbered the same. Can't tell night from day, they go on anyway. Loosing track of the hours, Livin' on Borrowed Time.
  • Take a look around, everything in your life. Put a smile on your face now, take it in stride, realize.
  • From the day you were born, life is just a moment. It only works one way, when time is borrowed. Loosing track of the hours, Livin' on Borrowed Time.
  • Was it yesterday? Maybe tomorrow. It all seemed like today, when time is borrowed. Loosing track of the hours, Livin' on Borrowed time. Loosing track of the hours, Livin' on Borrowed time. Loosing track of the hours, were all Livin' on Borrowed time.

Call me Big Shot

Livin' on Borrowed Time

Livin' on Borrowed Time

  • People smile and say, as he goes down, he really thinks he's something else. But I can't help it, ya'll, I really got it good. My baby morning kisses has always made me feel this way.
  • Like a Big shot, everything is going right. Like a Big shot, since she came into my life. Her love has made a Big Shot out of me.
  • Got a two room shack, on a little bitty farm. Raise chickens, dogs and lots of love. When I walk out that door, I hold my head up high. Mother nature's greatest gift, that made me quit a guy.
  • I'm a Big Shot, everything is going right. I'm a Big Shot, since she came into my life. Her love has made a Big Shot out of me. Oh, her love has made a Big Shot out of me.
  • Her love has made me everything I am. Dirt poor most the time, but she don't give a dam. Call me Big shot. Aw Big Shot.
  • Her love has made me everything I am. Dirt poor most the time, but she don't give a dam. Call me Big shot. Aw Big Shot. She calls me Big Shot. Aw Big Shot. Her love has made a Big Shot out of me. Oh, her love has made a Big Shot out of me. yea, her love has made a Big Shot out of me.
  • People smile and say, as he goes down, he really thinks he's something else.

Snockered

Snockered

I got snockered again

Said I wouldn’t then I did

Drinkin’ with my friends

I got snockered again

There aint no excuse

Just wanna cut loose

Have fun I need some

Let’s have another one

I got snockered again

Said I wouldn’t then I did

Drinkin’ with my friends

I got snockered again

I’m dreadin’ tomorrow

Hell its four am

Gotta get to my job

Damn that hair of the dog

I got snockered again

Said I wouldn’t then I did

Drinkin’ with my friends

I got snockered again

Fell down on the floor

I can’t take any more

Said I’d never do it again

Now again here I am

Now I’m nursin’ the first one

Get out this bar by ten

Headin’ out the door

I see Jack my old friend

Chorus

Gates to Heaven

He’s a southern man who came from north Alabama

Drove short haul from Tampa to Miami

A wife and nine kids lord it’s plain to see

He drove all day long to feed his family

His name is Ethridge, we call him Paw Paw

65 years ago he married Maw Maw

A hard workin’ man who likes to go fishin’

Golf a round or sit and visit

He’sshade tree mechanic he could make that engine hum

Hang dry wall, and cut a rug

Make you laugh at a joke you heard a dozen times before

A jack of all trades and a master of love

Climb up that cab and fire up that old Mack

You got last haul the Lord’s callin’ you back

No logs, no maps, no load to drop by seven

Hit the highway fly the skyway

Enter the Gate of Heaven

30 years ago I took the hand of his youngest daughter

Brooksville Florida land of gators and otters

Now he’s on the road to paradise

Roll on Paw Paw roll on

Climb up that cab and fire up that old Mack

You got last haul the Lord’s callin’ you back

No logs, no maps, no load to drop by seven

Hit the highway fly the skyway

Enter the Gate of Heaven

Hit the highway fly the skyway

Enter the Gate of Heaven

Straight upStraight upStraight upStraight up

Give it to me straight up no beatin’ ‘round the bush

Give it to me straight up or you might as well cut me loose

That’s how I like my women how I like my whiskey too

Straight up Straight up Straight up Straight up

You gotta be straight up don’t twist this thing around

You gotta be straight up what goes must come around

Be straight up with me I’ve beenstraight up with you

That’s how I like my women how I like my whiskey too

Straight up Straight up Straight up Straight up

Don’t lie to me

Cause I’ve never lied to you

Now I hear what you’re sayin

And it aintringin’ true

Straight up Straight up Straight up Straight up

Just be straight up and everything will work out right

Cause when you’re straight up there aint no need to fight

Be straight up with me I’ve beenstraight up with you

That’s how I like my women how I like my whiskey too

Straight up Straight up Straight up Straight up

Straight up Straight up Straight up Straight up

Charlie’s Song

I’m just a man just like my old man

I‘ve been workin’ hard nearly all my life

I’ve lived and I’ve learned

I’ve got cut and I’ve been burned

But I did what I had to do to make it right

Now I aint got much but that old truck out there’s mine

I aintcomplainin’ everything’s workin’ out fine

This is Charlie’s song he taught me right from wrong

Made me the man that’s standin’ here today

This is Charlie’s song said son when you do wrong

Step up and be the man you were raised to be

I got a new smart phone I got a flat screen TV

I got a teenage daughter swear to God she thinks she smarter than me

But when I think about me and dad and all those fights we had

Now I know it takes a man to be dad

This is Charlie’s song he taught me right from wrong

Made me the man that’s standin’ here today

This is Charlie’s song said son when you do wrong

Step up and be the man you were raised to be

Now I pray to the Lord and I thank him for all I have

My family my friends and my Mom and Dad

When my time has come and that old farm is sold

I pray I see ole Charlie once again

Once again

This is Charlie’s song

OH-OH Charlie’s song

This is Charlie’s song

Poison the air and water too

Flyin’ with the Buzzard

Living on the edge jammin’ every night

Don’t know what he’s doin’ but it sure feels right

So barmaid pour me some whiskey

I need something to bring me down

Cuz when the Buzzard’s flyin’high

I need to keep it on the ground

When the jammin’s tight

And the music’s right

We’ll be flyin’ all night

Flyin’ all night Yea he’s fired up tonight

Soarin’ like an eagle

Stratosphere he’s outta sight

Flyin’ all night can the boy get it right

Flyin’ with the Buzzard and it sure feels right

BUZZARD COME BACK

When we were kids listened to the blues

Buddy Guy and Johnny Winter man they’re flyers too

And when we hit the stage nothin’ came bring us down

Smokin’ Jokin’ Midnight tokin

Pretty girls getting’ down

Cuz when the jammin’s tight

And the music’s right

We’ll be flyin’ all night

Flyin’ all night Yea he’s fired up tonight

Soarin’ like an eagle

Stratosphere he’s outta sight

Flyin’ all night can the boy get it right

Flyin’ with the Buzzard and it sure feels right

We’re flyin’ with the Buzzard and it sure feels right

1000 Miles from Home

Work all week doin’ what I like

In a honky tonk bar I’ve made my life

Got a little girl 1000 miles from here

On Sunday night I’m gonna make there

You know I love my baby 1000 miles from home

I watch them girls all dressed up tight

Yeah I watch ‘emdance, flirt and fight

Home alone I get the blues again

Sunday night I’m on the road again

'Cuase I love my baby 1000 miles from home

1000 miles aint really that far

You just stay between the lines and drive it hard

You know my baby’s waiting for me

But I can’t wait I gotta speed

Musical Interlude

1000 miles aint really that far

You just stay between the lines and drive it hard

You know my baby’s waiting for me

But I can’t wait I gotta speed

Tuesday night back in the Keys

Playin’ for the folks in a coconut breeze

Dick’s rockin’ the house every night

Then that girl will cross my mind

Cause I love my baby 1000 miles from home

Yeah I love my baby

Drives me crazy

Love my baby 1000 miles from home
