Here's a song Chuck & Connie wrote, and
Dennis does a great job with the vocals.
written by Chuck, with Dennis and Neil.
We had a great time putting this one together.
Words from the artist
This is a song I wrote about realizing your passion. For me I was 9yrs old in 1963, I was into baseball and sang in the church choir. But when I heard the Beatles “I want to Hold Your Hand” everything changed. I felt a burning desire to have a guitar around my neck and wanted to sing and play like the Beatles. OK I was young, I started taking guitar lessons, and heard other artists and styles, and got hooked! After 56 years of playing the passion is still with me, it gives great pleasure every time I put that guitar on and perform. It is my saving grace I am so glad I never left it alone.
Chuck Thunderhead
Old Mr. Grover includes 4 songs that were written by chuck Thunderhead. Recorded and engineered by Mike Cohagen in Hollywood, Fl., 1997. With Chuck on guitar and vocals, Mike Cohagen on bass, Frank Lopes on drums, Dean Sire on keyboards and special appearance by Raiford Starke. Sparking some Rock with Blues, these songs sat for over 20 years on the shelf. After converting from analog to digital, Mr. Cohagen sent the songs down to us, from his Home Studio in Kentucky. We digitally Mastered the songs and published our first EP. Feel free to click on the image to sample and purchase our product on Amazon.com.

Chuck Thunderhead
With a change of genre, as Chuck like to do, he went Latin with this one. For all our Latin friends, anyone who has been to Mexico or any of the Caribbean Islands, or even just out on any of the Cruise Ships, this song is for you (or if you like Tequila). Chuck did a great job with the Acoustic Guitars, including the 1969 Martin classical with Gut Strings. Dennis added his magical touch on the Bass and the Keyboards. The Percussion was a real challenge for me with the Latin beat. Squeezing our time into the Studio during the Pandemic, we're very happy to get another song out to the public.
